Pirelli P ZERO Race 150th Anniversary Tire

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the company whose first tire was precisely a bicycle tire, Pirelli is launching P ZERO Race 150°, a special version of its racing tire. This celebratory tire made its debut on World Tour Trek-Segafredo team bikes during the just-concluded Giro d'Italia. P ZERO Race 150° is a versatile tire for tubes, suitable for both competition and long training sessions. Thanks in particular to the special SmartEVO compound, it guarantees lightness, great fluidity, and very good road holding. Formulated from a ternary blend of polymers with "intelligent" behavioral characteristics, this material provides excellent grip on dry or wet surfaces as well as very low rolling resistance.

The 120 TPI nylon carcass is protected by TechBELT Road technology which improves puncture resistance without weighing down the tire. The P ZERO Race 150° is made in Italy: it is produced in the newly renovated Pirelli factory in Bollate near Milan. Taking up all the appreciated qualities of the original P ZERO Race - a sales record for the Milanese brand - it is embellished with a superb gold color with the Pirelli 150° logo and special packaging. The P ZERO RACE 150° is available in sizes 26-622 and 28-622.

P ZERO™ Race synthesizes the advantages of the tube-type technology in an all-rounder cycling tire for high-intensity training sessions and races.

The TechBELT Road carcass improves reliability against punctures without affecting the weight of the tire while the special SmartEVO Compound enhances the grip performances both on wet and dry asphalt compared to our previous cycling compounds
