SHIMANO XTR M965 /966, SAINT M800, HONE M601, DEORE XT M765 & LX ORGANIC BRAKE PADS Made using natural fibres bonded with a hard wearing organic resin these brake pads will bed in quickly and provide a sharp braking response. More suited to lighter riders and more undulating trails. Organic compound brake pads will retain more heat than sintered and therefore transfer less heat to the rotor, prolonging rotor life but resulting in greater brake fade under heavy and prolonged braking conditions.
Although only marginally lighter in weight than sintered pads these organic pads are a popular choice for cross country and enduro racing alike
